Druid Hill Park has been an integral part of Baltimore for more than 125 years as its premier green space. It has seen many changes throughout the years, in the activities, the landscaping and the patrons. Druid Hill Park has been a place where sheep and deer once roamed, where children hunted for eggs at Easter, and armies camped out. It houses a zoo and a conservatory, baseball diamonds and tennis courts. There are the remains of an elaborately designed bandstand.
